The Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia is the coordinating organization of the Provincial Edition of the Communities in Bloom Program. 

TIANS believes that by promoting the Communities in Bloom program provincially and nationally, we are building the incentive and capacity of communities across the province to foster community pride and involvement; as well as environmental awareness and action.

Communities in Bloom is designed to be a continuous community improvement program and is divided into three levels: Provincial, National and International.

The Nova Scotia Provincial evaluations are conducted during the summer months, and the annual CIB Awards Ceremony takes place in conjunction with the Annual Tourism Conference. 

By promoting the involvement of all Nova Scotian communities in the Communities in Bloom program we can continue to build a healthy, sustainable tourism industry in Nova Scotia..
